Summer Fayre 2017

On Saturday 1st July we will be hosting the biggest event of the year – the Summer Fayre. We will be in the Upper School Playground from 3pm until 6pm and there will lots to see and do!

This year’s main attraction will be an inflatable assault course for the children. There will also be refreshments, BBQ, tombolas, face painting, fayre games, candy floss stall, the prize shop, Splat the Teacher and water bombing. The Fire Engine will be coming and there will also be a chip pan demonstration. We are delighted that ‘Really Wild Learning’ will also be joining us. There will be some fun challenges for the children and grown ups to take part in too. Streetz will be coming along to do a performance and we have booked local DJ, Ollie Stacey, to provide the music for the afternoon. Plus, don’t forget to purchase your raffle tickets to be in with a chance of winning some amazing prizes. This year’s first prize is a family ticket to Longleat Safari Park.

If you would like to get involved and lend a hand at the fayre, even for an hour, we would be extremely grateful. The Summer Fayre is a big event and relies on the help and support of lots of volunteers to ensure it goes ahead as planned. If you would like to get involved you can speak to one of us or email us at fotb@bluecoat-primary.org.

Leavers’ Disco

On Thursday 13th July FoTB will be hosting the last disco of the academic year.

Times:

Nursery and Reception: 4pm until 4:45pm

Years 1 & 2: 5pm until 5:45pm

Years 3-6: 6:30pm until 8pm

The end of year disco is always a very popular event and a great opportunity for year 6 pupils to celebrate their time at Primary school with their friends. This year the year 6 pupils voted for a theme for their final disco at Bluecoat and the winning theme is “Prom”. This theme will only be relevant to the last disco of the evening (years 3-6) and it is NOT compulsory. But if your child would like too, they are welcome to come along dressed in something a little more special than they would normally wear to the disco.

If you would like to lend a hand at the disco we would be grateful to hear from you. Please email us at fotb@blucoat-primary.org and someone will get back to you.
